Ceremony site: Manhattan Marriage Bureau -- A
Getting married at the bureau was fantastic. They did a major renovation this past year and inside it's really pretty. Also, it was just kinda fun to be around so many other B&Gs and their families as they were getting married. The clerk who married us was super sweet and even let us say our own vows.

Photographer: JIMMY RYAN -- A+++

Jimmy and his assistant Amy were absolutely phenomenal. After we got married, we took a couple photos and then got on a bus for 4 hours with everyone at the wedding to take photos around the city. Jimmy and Amy worked their butts off all day and did fantastic work from morning until night. Cool and interesting photos were a huge thing for us and Jimmy totally delivered. He really listened to everything we wanted. Plus, he is just the nicest guy and so great to have around on the wedding day. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone.

Reception dinner: Salt Restaurant -- A+++

The Mr. and I have been going to Salt since before we started dating so we were so excited when we booked our reception dinner there. It could not have been more wonderful. The food was excellent (it always is) and the whole staff just went out of their way to make everything perfect. Our DOC went by that day to put up decorations and after dinner the staff carefully packaged everything back up even better than I did. They went above and beyond in every way. Oh, and did I mention the raves the food got from all our guests?!

DOC: Katie Berger of Sara Kate Events -- A+++

Katie is great. She helped everything run smoothly the day of and is an absolute dear to work with. Our needs were a little different than other B&Gs. In addition to setting up Salt with place cards and decor, we needed her to meet our bus at downtown with a huge cooler of booze, snacks and supplies for our 4 hour ride. The bus met us with everything already loaded at the exact time we wanted it. Getting everything on the bus was really the thing I was most nervous about and Katie did it flawlessly. I also gave her free reign to set up the restaurant with my decor however she thought it'd looked best, and it looked great.

Sissi Chan -- A+++

Sissi is fantastic.  She's so sweet, very responsive to questions, and does a fantastic job with hair and makeup.  I had two huge zits show up the night before the wedding and you can't even see them in my photos (even without photoshop!).  She did hair and makeup for me, my mom and my MIL and hair for one of my BMs.  Everyone looked great and was very happy.  Also, compared to many other MUA in the city, she has extremely reasonable prices.

Bouquet: Spruce -- B
My bouquet was really pretty but the woman who put it together called me at 7pm the night before the wedding to tell me they didn't have the color ribbon I requested. No big deal, but I found it really annoying since I had ribbon they could have used if they'd just let me know even an hour earlier. It also really died by the middle of the day and looked bad in some of our photos.  I'm not sure if that's just because we were so active.

Dress: Kleinfeld -- A
I know Kleinfeld gets mixed reviews, but I had a good experience there. I had a very relaxed associate and nothing went wrong with alterations (easy dress to alter!)

Misc items from Etsy
Boutonniere from aaliciawedding: Huge hit! Alicia did a custom color combo for me and everyone raved to the Mr. about how much they loved it. One of his favorite parts of the wedding. Too bad it fell in a puddle on the way out of a cab as we were going home :(

Custom bear and bunny cake topper from melabo: Total last minute order. Love the topper!

Kermit cufflinks for the Mr. from Bellamodaartist: totally cute.
